drinks
Here are some drinks that I like but have never heard of. Maybe
I invented them, or maybe I re-discovered them. Please notify me
if you know an existing name for one of these.
I like drinks that taste nice and are a snap to make.
- Knob Coffee
-
An agreeable hard coffee.
- 1 3/4 oz. Knob Creek
- 3/4 oz. dark Creme de Cocoa
- fill with coffee
- Lazy Rocks Martini
-
This one is like an old fashioned vodka martini without
as much labor—and with ice. These days they
use barely any vermouth at all in a martini, so it's
nice to be able to enjoy that taste. You can sip it slowly while the
ice melts.
- ice in rocks glass, with the following poured over ...
- 1 3/4 oz. Ketel One vodka
- 3/4 oz. dry vermouth
Lazy Rocks Rob Roy
This one is like a rob roy without
as much style.
These days a lot of people don't know what sweet vermouth
is, and they miss out on the nice way it complements good bourbon.
- ice in rocks glass, with the following poured over ...
- 1 3/4 oz. Makers Mark or other good bourbon
- 3/4 oz. sweet vermouth
